What is the best time of year for family photos? That’s the beauty of Michigan, we can shoot in any season! It all just depends on what type of backdrop you want and what type of clothing you want to wear. Winter is awesome for city photos (cities look the same year round), indoor home sessions, or outdoor snow sessions. Spring (although very short in Michigan) is great as Michigan starts to turn green (May) and the foliage is not overgrown, there are no bugs, and temperatures are pleasant. Summer is in full green glory so if you like green scenery, lakes, and beaches, summer is for you. Early fall still looks like summer but has cooler temps. And of course, later fall gives us warm and beautiful colors with the changing and falling leaves. What season will you choose?
